Humanitarian Aid

Since 2016, MFA has partnered with community responders and medical teams to deliver nearly $500 million in humanitarian aid. Every shipment, clinic, and project is shaped by people who know their communities best. From food and hygiene supplies to clean water systems and essential medicines, MFA reaches families in areas where aid access is limited and health systems are strained. Our model prioritizes dignity, reliability, and coordination, ensuring the right support reaches the right households at the right time.

Distribution & Impact

Through Syrian-led networks and local health providers, MFA has delivered:

  • $425 million+ in medicine and medical equipment
  • Nearly $10 million in clean water and WASH support
  • Over $3 million in non-food items
  • Nearly $5 million in food relief

These efforts have reached more than 2.5 million households, supporting hospitals, clinics for refugee and displaced families across northern and southern Syria.

Projects

MFA partners with local medical teams to restore and expand essential health services.

Since 2021, our Primary Healthcare Center in Northeast Syria has provided free consultations, reproductive health care, medicines, immunizations, and referrals, a lifeline for a community of more than 50,000 people.

A core part of our health work includes supplying high-demand, high-quality medicines, including cancer treatments and halal-certified prenatal multiple-micronutrient supplements, all provided free of charge to patients.

Our clean water initiatives install filtration systems, water tanks, and solar solutions that reduce disease, support clinic operations, and help families maintain stability and dignity in displacement.

What's Next?

As millions of displaced Syrians look toward returning home, MFA is working with local leaders to support the next phase of recovery. Our focus includes repairing damaged homes, restoring clean water and essential community infrastructure, and strengthening local health systems so families can rebuild daily life with dignity. These priorities will continue to be shaped by Syrians themselves: their needs, their knowledge, and their vision for the future.
