Clean Water at a Primary School

About This Project

Supplying a primary school in Northeast Syria with reliable clean drinking water through a fully solar-powered atmospheric Watergen generation unit.

“One of MFA's ten fully solar-powered Watergen units, installed at a primary school in Northeast Syria, gives the surrounding community a reliable source of clean drinking water.”

Multifaith Alliance

“Clean, safe drinking water now flows where none was reliably available before, powered entirely by the sun.”

Completed Water & Energy Outcomes

In a region where access to safe water is scarce and the electrical grid is unreliable across Syria, MFA installed a fully solar-powered Watergen unit — advanced atmospheric water generation technology — at a local primary school.

The unit extracts fresh drinking water directly from the air and operates entirely on its own renewable photovoltaic power system, ensuring consistent clean water production even during prolonged electrical blackouts, serving hundreds of students and the wider neighborhood.
