Southern Türkiye Earthquake Emergency Hospital Relief
About This Project
Delivered 3 major containers of orthopedic trauma kits, ICU beds, and emergency surgical gear to hospitals treating earthquake casualties across Southern Türkiye.
“In the wake of catastrophic disasters, rapid delivery of surgical tools, external fixators, and ICU capacity is the decisive factor saving lives on the frontline.”
“Mobilizing 3 major containers of specialized surgical consumables and intensive care units to sustain emergency triage following the 7.7 magnitude disaster.”
Project Overview: Immediate Earthquake Response
Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Southern Türkiye in February 2023, regional hospitals were inundated with tens of thousands of acute crush and orthopedic injuries while their own supply chains were critically disrupted.
Multifaith Alliance rapidly mounted an emergency sea and overland logistics corridor, deploying 3 major shipping containers loaded with orthopedic bone stabilization kits, surgical instruments, and ICU beds directly to regional health facilities.
