Dear Friends,

Over the next few weeks, we'll ask for your help in a few urgent places where we can act right away.

First, we are sharing our Education & Mental Health campaign, helping children return to learning and families find the care they need.

Help Children Return to Learning, and Families Find Support

In rural Aleppo, a center that served children with intellectual and developmental disabilities has closed, and families now have almost nowhere else to go.

MFA has an immediate opportunity to help establish a dedicated space where children can learn, build skills, and receive consistent care.

Local estimates suggest more than 500 children and teenagers need assessment and support.

The proposed center could support up to 150 children and adolescents each month, providing educational and rehabilitation activities, psychosocial support, family guidance, and free transportation.

For $8,500 a month, the center could provide approximately 450 rehabilitation sessions, building toward 5,400 sessions a year. Just $57 supports one child for a full month.

A reliable place to learn restores routine, connection, and the opportunity to keep building communication, social, and everyday life skills. For families, it means having trusted support they can count on.

We need your help to turn this opportunity into a welcoming place where children can return.

Perspective: "Education Under Attack Means More Than War"

In Education Under Attack Means More Than War, Giulia McPherson, Senior Advisor at the Multifaith Alliance and former Chair of the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA), explains why protecting education also means confronting the funding gaps and exclusion that keep children out of school long after an emergency.

"Schools must remain sanctuaries of hope, dignity, and recovery. Restoring education is not secondary—it is the foundation upon which long-term stability and psychological safety are built."

Every gift helps us take the next step. Help us give children a place to learn and families a place to turn for support.

Thank you for standing with children and families working to rebuild their futures.
