Ms. Eskaief is a mother of four from Aleppo.

She left her home in the Al Measar District after an explosive barrel hit the building while her family was away. In 2016, her husband, who drove a taxi for a living, was killed in an airstrike.

She later lived with her children in the basement of an unfinished building. Moisture caused mold to grow, worsening the family's asthma. The home had no doors, no windows and no electricity.

Ms. Eskaief reached out to several organizations for help, but each one told her they could not assist. Then she contacted Multifaith Alliance.

"They responded immediately, came with me to assess the situation, and showed sincere compassion. Multifaith Alliance truly is a symbol of humanity."

Today, her home has doors, windows, solar power and her family has a safe place to live.

Ms. Eskaief's rebuilt home in Aleppo, Syria

She may not know your name, but your support made this possible.

Your support has made a life-changing difference for families waiting to return home.

Thanks to your generosity, MFA has completed the rehabilitation of 63 out of 125 identified homes, helping more than 55 displaced families return home. Work is currently underway on 26 additional homes, while 36 more are still waiting for repairs.

We could not have come this far without you, and we hope you will join us for the next phase of our journey.

Together, we can restore these remaining houses and bring more families back to their homes.

Your gift goes further than you might think.

Many of our supporters have found ways to give that cost them less, or nothing extra at all. Please consider the following impactful options:

  • Employer Matching Gifts: If your employer offers matching gifts, your past donation may be eligible to be doubled or even tripled. A quick check with your HR department can make a significant difference.
  • Donor-Advised Funds (DAF): Recommending a grant to Multifaith Alliance takes only minutes and can fund months of vital recovery work.
  • Appreciated Stock: Giving securities directly may allow you to give more while offering potential tax advantages.
  • Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD): If you are 70½ or older, giving directly from your IRA is one of the most tax-efficient ways to support our mission.
  • Legacy Giving: Including Multifaith Alliance in your estate plans ensures your values continue helping families rebuild for years to come.

Whatever form your support takes, it directly reaches people rebuilding their lives, one difficult day at a time. Thank you for your continued partnership.

If you have questions about any of these options, please reply to this email. We'll be happy to help.

With gratitude,
Team MFA
