22.9 Million Items Delivered: MFA's Emergency Response in Gaza
Gaza: A Crisis of Unimaginable Scale
In 2025, MFA delivered 22.9 million food, hygiene, and clothing items to families in Gaza — making it the largest single-region response in the organization's history.
Over 500,000 people in Gaza remain trapped in famine conditions, with more than 90% of the population facing acute food insecurity. MFA's certified delivery network has been working around the clock to reach those most in need.
What We Delivered
- Emergency food parcels — designed to sustain a family of five for two weeks
- Hygiene and sanitation kits — including soap, disinfectant, and feminine hygiene products
- Children's shoes and clothing — reaching tens of thousands of children who lost everything
- Water purification tablets — critical in areas where clean water infrastructure has been destroyed
On-the-Ground Impact
Working with trusted local partners, MFA has directly reached over 100,000 families since September 2024. Each delivery is verified through our rigorous monitoring system to ensure aid reaches those who need it most.
"We receive families every day who have not eaten in days. The MFA shipments are a lifeline." — Local partner coordinator, Khan Yunis
