Maria fled her home because of the war. She arrived at Holovanivsk Hospital with chronic lower back pain that displacement and interrupted treatment had made unbearable. What she needed was simple: a lumbar orthosis. A back brace. Forty dollars' worth of medical equipment that her hospital didn't have.

Last month, she received it. And for the first time in months, she felt relief.

What your support does

Across Ukraine, hospitals are working under extraordinary pressure: complex injuries, displaced patients, interrupted treatment, and chronic supply shortages. With your support, Multifaith Alliance moves aid from demand to delivery: identifying urgent needs with partners closest to the crisis, mobilizing critical supplies, and getting them to the hospitals and patients who need them most.

In 2025, MFA has delivered more than $113 million in humanitarian aid across Syria, Türkiye, Lebanon, northern Iraq, Gaza, and Ukraine, in places where many other organizations can no longer operate.

Inside the hospitals: CMA Ukraine

Through our partnership with the Christian Medical Association of Ukraine (CMA), MFA helped ship dressings, antiseptics, single-use supplies, orthopedic supports, and other essentials used daily by doctors and nurses.

At Skalat Municipal District Hospital, those supplies helped nurse Oksana care for Ivan, a patient recovering from a serious leg injury who needed constant, consistent care.

Through CMA Ukraine's medical warehouse, supplies have now reached hospitals, charitable foundations, partner organizations, and military units across the country.

Listening first: Razom for Ukraine

Our partnership with Razom for Ukraine takes the same approach. Hospitals in Ukraine are not only stretched, but many have also been directly targeted, including maternity facilities. The result is fewer resources, more patients, and doctors forced into impossible triage decisions.

Early in the war, organizations took whatever supplies they could get. As the war response matured, Razom asked:

"What do hospitals actually need to save lives? Logistics — how fast we can preserve the supply chain from procurement to end use — that's how many lives can be saved."
